Mike founded The Commercial Place in 2004 after 5 1/2 years with Wisconsin's largest commercial brokerage firm. Prior to commercial real estate, Mike spent four years in sales and management with a Minneapolis based recreational land development company. He has been a licensed real estate agent since 1991 and currently holds Brokers licenses in both Wisconsin and Michigan.

Mike attended the University of Wisconsin Madison. He is an active member of the Realtors Association of Northeast Wisconsin as well as Chair of the RANW Commercial Council (2007-2008). He is the founder and President of Place Perfect Realty, a residential real estate firm with 4 office locations and 20+ team members. Jim is a licensed real estate broker in Wisconsin and real estate agent in Michigan (previously in AZ). He has participated as a broker in sales and purchases of nearly $50,000,000 worth of real estate in his ten plus years experience. While leasing the defunct Fox Valley Greyhound Park in the 1990’s for open air markets, snocross/motocross races, bridal shows, and craft/antique shows, Jim determined this multi-building (90,000 sq. ft.) 98 acre property should be marketed and sold. He secured an Exclusive Right to Sell, and did just that.

I graduated in 1984 from UW-Lacrosse with a B.S. Degree in Marketing. I have 15 years of commercial real estate experience. I have been involved in many commercial developments from single family, condo, and retail centers. I have done site searches for national retailers as welll as retail property management.
